Eik's parents are taken in the night. His only inheritance is a small hexagonal box that hums when he touches it. Far from home lies Lossen, a city built from the world's discarded machines — and something inside it has been waiting for him.

The story
Remember who you are.
Eik has always known that his family is different. His mother adjusts him at the kitchen table with a tiny screwdriver. His father tells the same joke every Friday. Both of them taught him a secret signal and a promise: Remember who you are.
Then the knock comes, the steel door gives way, and Eik is left with a small hexagonal box and nowhere to go but Lossen.
Lossen is a city of scrap built by the survivors of a collapsed world: rusting containers, drone-patrolled ridges and creatures nobody planned for. Here the old machines are still half awake. Nivi can feel them. Maya hides what she knows. Theo guards a camp that has learned never to trust strangers. And RazorClaw, a war machine that should have been dismantled, wants Eik's answers just as badly as Eik does.
As the box wakes, so does everything around it. And Eik discovers that the most dangerous thing in Lossen may be the truth about himself.
Guest is a post-apocalyptic adventure about found family, machines with hearts and the courage to stay human.
